迪马利亚在纪录片中回忆了2014年世界杯决赛前，皇马阻挠他上场竞赛的工作。

2014年世界杯，迪玛利亚在对阵比利时的1/4决赛中右腿肌肉撕裂，但他仍期望能在决赛进场。迪马利亚在纪录片中说道：“2014年世界杯决赛的那天早上，我收到了皇马的一封信，告诉我他们不期望我参与竞赛，由于我身体不适。我当场就把信撕掉了。”
